CIMC Staff Create Library Course Pages for Fall Courses

CIMC staff are available to meet with SoE faculty, and provide online instructional resources via library course pages. Library course pages may accompany a CIMC instruction session, or can be provided outside of CIMC instruction. This web resource is available to students in the same manner as electronic reserves. To learn more about Library Course pages, click here. To request a library course page for a particular course, contact Catherine Stephens at cstephens@education.wisc.edu.

New Scanners in CIMC labs

Six scanners were added to the lab recently. They are all Epson flat-bed scanners. Most are Expression 1680 color scanners capable of scanning letter-size documents (8.5 x 11 inches). These models have an optical resolution of 1600 dpi. The other color scanner is the Expression 10000XL capable of scanning ledger-size documents (11 x 17 inches) at an optical resolution of 2400 dpi.

Two of the Expression 1680 scanners are located in the Windows Classroom (room 348). The other three Expression 1680s and the Expression 10000XL scanner are attached to Windows computers in the open lab (room 336). All are controlled through the Epson Scan program that can be run separately or within Adobe PhotoShop.
