Join our fantastic staff and gain experience with: curriculum materials, media equipment, ordering and processing new books, computer software and hardware, and assisting people at our busy library and computing center. The CIMC is a highly rated School of Education facility dedicated to providing top quality service to its users. Supervisory positions may also available after on-the job experience is gained. We celebrate birthdays and enjoy potlucks and pizza parties together throughout they year!

Areas of Employment

Three areas are looking for possible applicants:

Circulation/Media Desk Staff

Starting Pay: $7.40/ hour
Responsibilities: Staff busy desk. Check materials in/out. Answer questions in person/on phone and email. Reshelve Books, Assist with media equipment.
Qualifications: Personable. Good with public and other staff. Previous library experience helpful. Availability to work at least eight hours.

Computer Lab Assistant

Starting Pay: $7.40/hour
Responsibilities: Assist users with software and hardware (word processing, graphics). Resolve printing problems.
Qualifications: Previous computer lab experience helpful. Knowledge of frequently used software programs, email etc, is helpful. Availabilty to work at least eight hours.

Technical Services Assistant

Starting Pay: $7.40/hour
Responsibilites: Order and process new materials. Check in books and serials.
Qualifications: Ability to work independently. Previous library experience helpful. Availability to work eight hours.
