Working with the faculty, staff and students of the School of Education to develop a resource center that serves as a model for the delivery of educational information and technology is my primary responsibility. As part of this development I am responsible for budgeting, personnel, long and short range planning; and liaison activities with the School, campus libraries and technology centers and the Wisconsin education community. In addition I provide collection support in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Educational Psychology, Literacy Education and Teacher Education.

Presentations and Publications
I have published in the areas of Internet resources for education, information and technology literacy for educators and content analysis of full text journal databases. My most recent publication is "Information-literacy collaboration: a shared responsibilty" (co-authored by Ilene Rockman) American Libraries, September 2003.

Committee service for the University is an important aspect of my role as liaison to the School of Education as well as to campus libraries and technology centers. In addition, I participate in campus mentoring programs.
Membership in and Service to Professional Organizations
I have held leadership positions in the Education and Behavioral Sciences Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries as well as in the Wisconsin Library Association and the Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians. In addition I have served on advisory committees for the National Library of Education, the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse on Science and Mathematics Education and Access ERIC.
